It seems that couples that enjoy making love have a greater success rate in getting pregnant than couples who turn getting pregnant into a chore. Stress can add undue pressure to your body and make the natural process of getting pregnant harder than it has to be.

The most important factor in helping a couple get pregnant is timing, but it is not the only factor you can control to help yourself get pregnant. Here are a few tips that may help you get pregnant.

4 Tips to Help Get Pregnant Quickly:

1) A healthy lifestyle - Nutritional supplements and a healthy diet can greatly increase your chances of becoming pregnant and having a happy healthy child. Most couples are not aware of the fact that a good diet helps your body control hormone levels. Having a hormone imbalance can affect both the man and the women's ability to conceive a child. There are certain drinks and foods that are known to hurt your chances of becoming pregnant.

2) Timing your cycle - Most women have a 28 days menstrual cycle with ovulation happening around the 14 day. Try to have sex every other day on the 12th to 16th day after your last menstruation. It is important to remember that not all woman's cycles are the same, some are shorter and some longer, this why it is important to give yourself a four to six day window to become pregnant.

3) Body Temperature - When ovulation occurs there is a normally rise in women's body temperature of .5 to 1.5 degrees. To give yourself an accurate measurement of when you're ovulating you need a basal thermometer to chart your daily temperature first thing in the morning. It is best to time your sexual intercourse 2 to 3 days before your peak ovulation.
